Cultural Committee

Cultural activities are important for the students and such activities are ways of recreation and it results in soothing effects. Due to the cultural activities, various qualities are developed among the students like: interpersonal communication, teamwork, leadership, organizing capability, elimination of stage freight and confidence building. These events help to showcase their inner musicians, dancers, actors, painters, writers, photographers and dreamers. It also helps to explore the hidden talents and special interests. The Institute has set up the Cultural Club. The members of the Club are one chairman ,seven staff members from each department and one Cultural Secretary from students which is elected by Chairman and members of Cultural committee.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • The Cultural Committee shall be responsible for all college cultural events in the College.
  • The Cultural Committee plans and schedules cultural events for the academic year.
  • The chairman of the committee shall conduct a meeting of the committee on the regular intervals to discuss and allot tasks.
  • The Cultural Committee prepare budget for all cultural events and takes necessary steps for its approval.
Constitution of Committee
  • The Vice principal of the Institute is the chairman of committee.
  • One senior faculty of the institute is member secretary of committee.
  • One faculty member from each department is a member.
  • One student member from each department is a member.
  • Sports secretary of student’s council is a member.

Activity Report 2024-25

To explore the inherent talent present in the students, college is always providing a platform. Under these various events are conducted. Participation in these events helps for the overall development of the students.

  • Engineering colleges are known for their rigorous academic schedules, and celebrating Bollywood Day can bring a refreshing break filled with fun, creativity, and cultural appreciation. Engineering students often face immense academic pressure, and Bollywood Day provides a much-needed break from studies. Engaging in dance, music, and fashion brings joy and relaxation, helping students’ recharge. Many engineering students have hidden talents in acting, singing, and dancing. Bollywood Day gives them a platform to showcase their artistic skills beyond academics. Bollywood is a blend of various Indian cultures, traditions, and languages. It helps students appreciate India’s rich cinematic and cultural heritage, even if they come from different states or countries. Celebrations like Bollywood Day create lasting memories and a sense of belonging to the institution. Alumni often recall such events fondly, strengthening their bond with the college.

  • An art gallery is a space dedicated to the exhibition and promotion of visual arts, including paintings, sculptures, photography, and other artistic expressions. This report provides an overview of the significance of art galleries, their role in cultural preservation, and insights from a recent visit to an art gallery. Art gallery-exhibition held MCOERC on 6th Feb 2025. The exhibition was organized at the electrical department hall. Students participated in different events like rangoli, painting, posters, poems, etc.

  • Fun-filled Crazy Combo Day it has been! From outrageous outfits to unforgettable laughter, today proved that being different is something to celebrate. We’ve seen creativity shine, confidence grow, and friendships strengthen as everyone embraced their wild side with mismatched colours, patterns, and styles. More than just a day of crazy fashion, this event reminded us that uniqueness makes us special, and stepping outside the norm can be so much fun!

  • Crazy Hat Day celebrated on Wednesday, 5th February 2025 in JAMBOREE 2025 at the Matoshri college of an Engineering and Research Centre, Nashik. It was an eventful day. Our students showcased their artistic flair and embraced the magic of Crazy Hat Day with open hearts and big smiles. Each student proudly wore their specially crafted hat, and the variety of designs was awe-inspiring. From hats adorned with feathers and flowers to hats that sparkled with glitter and lights, every creation was a masterpiece in itself.

  • Group Day in the cultural festival was a huge success, fostering teamwork, friendship, and college spirit. It provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their talents, creativity, and enthusiasm. The event truly highlighted the importance of collaboration and made lasting memories for everyone involved.
