In this, the College pursues a research ethos that promotes exceptional expertise as well as ethical responsibility. Not only does the ethical conduct of science satisfy a scientific moral code, it also leads to better scientific results. Because the adherence to ethical research practice leads to more attention to the details of scientific research, including qualitative analysis, quantitative and statistical techniques and to more thoughtful collaboration among investigators. Researchers use innovative research techniques and modern tools, both to solve problems of the modern world and to understand the ancient world better. In the Institute, research is being carried out in all engineering disciplines.

The objectives are:

1. To inculcate & promote research culture amongst the faculty and students.
2. To promote ethical practices in research amongst faculty and students.
3. Ensure publications in quality journals, indexed in Scopus/ Web of Science with impact factor.
4. To encourage faculty to undertake projects in thrust areas in Science and Engineering funded by various national and international agencies.
5. To motivate and depute faculty for doctoral and post doctoral assignments at various national and international universities and organizations of repute.
6. To enhance the research awareness by organizing national and international conferences, workshops, seminars on research methodology, IPR, and Patents.
7. To provide a creative atmosphere supported by adequate facilities and resources in which research thrives among the faculty and students.
8. To explore new horizon of knowledge and ensure its practical implementation through collective efforts and quality research work.
