Information Technology

The department of INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY is established in year 2008 with undergraduate course in Bachelor of Information Technology with intake of 60. The department has both a clear and defined Vision and mission statements aligned with that of the College. Department undergoes cohesive and demonstrable strategies for the students to deal with every kind of exploration in the technological world. All the teachers are considerate towards every idea of students and attended various workshops based on new technologies and published papers in renowned Journals. There are multiple events organized within the department by “Acumen Club” to keep students updated as per the requirement of industry. Acumen club also conducts regular industrial visits to various industries such as PSPL, ESDS as well as research organizations like BARC and C-DAC to make students acquaint with recent trends in Industry.

The department has achieved success by means of effective teaching, implementation of the curriculum by keeping an appropriate balance between general education and the major, the appropriate incorporation of technology into teaching and learning. Positive spirit and vitality are the keys to support and enhance the work of faculty, students and the broader College community.

The consistent placement of majority of the students of every batch in renowned organizations is the outcome of perseverance, tenacity and practices applied at the department and TPO.

Mr.N.L.Bhale is guiding as the Head of the information Technology Department. He pursued his Computer Engineering from Govt. college of Engineering, of Amravati University. Since then he is working in teaching profession and has 28 years of teaching experience. He has developed himself to be wealth of experience in academics. He has earned a Master of Technology in Computer Engineering from BATU, Lonere. He is pursuing Doctorate in Machine Translation. He is Life Member of CSI, ISTE and IE (I). He has authored 2 books in areas Multimedia and Artificial Intelligence. He has 15 Papers to his Credit, which were published at various national and international conferences and Journals. He has addressed and attended various workshops conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University regarding syllabi revision and expert talk to the subject teachers. He has been invited to deliver expert talks in various domains. He has worked as Session Chair and Reviewer at various conferences and Symposia. He is certified test administrator for TOEFL iBT and Dell Carnegie certified Engineering Teacher.

As senior teaching professional of Matoshri College of Engineering and Research centre, he wishes to impart state of the art world-class quality technical education and instill high patterns of discipline to set global standards, making students technologically superior and ethically strong. He desires that the Matoshri College of Engineering and Research Center gains national recognition of excellence and performance in technical education through teaching, research, and service.
