ASET - Student Club

ASET is club of the student’s for the students by the student’s
AMBITION OF CLUB : - We seek to encourage an active engagement in the engineering field above and beyond the experience of the classroom by having interaction among students and resource people.
ASET consists of a committee which is headed by President and vice president along with its members from second, third and final year students. The president strictly taken from TE only.
This club serves as a platform for students to showcase their talent and skills. Under ASET different activities are organized by the students for the students. The activities like different technical and non technical events, seminars, workshops, different competitions, industry visits, and function for refreshment like farewell of the final year students are also organized by the ASET. Because of Participation and organization of these events students are able to improve their leadership skills, team work and communication skills.

Project Competition
The Project Competition organized under the IETE Students Forum and ASET club on 23rd April 2025 was a resounding success, achieving its objective of promoting innovation, practical learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The event provided a valuable platform for students from all departments to exhibit their technical skills, creativity, and teamwork through real-world projects. The enthusiastic participation, quality of projects, and insightful interactions with faculty and department heads made the event both educational and inspiring. The support and presence of Principal Dr. G.K. Kharate and all HODs added great value, motivating students to pursue further excellence. Overall, the competition not only celebrated the innovative spirit of young engineers but also strengthened the culture of hands-on learning and technical excellence within the institution

Guest Lecture on Patents and Copyrights
To create awareness and understanding of Legal and Commercial aspects of innovation. Guest Lecture on Patents and Copyrights was organized under the IETE Students Forum and ASET club on 21st April 2025, The session was delivered by Mr.V.E. Kothavade , reputed expert in the field of intellectual property and patents . Objectives of this lecture is to introduce the concept of intellectual property and its importance. To provide insights of the patent application process .To encourage innovation and awareness of legal protection among students

Industrial visit organized at automation farm
Industrial visit organized at automation farm of our alumna Mrs. Rajashri Mali ,Vadner bhairav, Nashik on 18th Feb 2025 The industrial visit to Automation Farm was highly informative and enlightening. It provided a comprehensive understanding of automation technologies and their real-world applications. This experience will contribute significantly to our academic and professional development in the field of Electronics and Control systems.

Teacher's Day Celebration
Teachers day celebrated on 5th Sept 2024 to mark the birthday of the country’s former President, scholar, philosopher and Bharat Ratna awardee, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishna. During event Dr. J..J. Chopade Head of E&TC department address to students .All Electronics and telecommunication engineering department staff and students were present during event . Dr. R.G. Dabhade address the event and gives vote of thanks on the behalf of all staff members.

Group discussion on 13th Oct 2022
Group discussion event was organized on 13th Oct 2022 by ASET students club in collaboration with T&P cell . Winners of the event are Ms. Rutuja Mogal from B.E E&TC, and Mr. Ayush Gunjal from S.E. E&TC . Head of E&TC department Dr. D.D. Dighe appreciates performance of winners . Mr. C.R. Shinde , Mr. R.C. Pawaskar and Ms. K. C. Jane from Electrical department judge this event .

Engineer’s day celebration
In the memory of Sir. Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya and contribution of Engineers in their field an “Engineer’s day” is celebrated at Matoshri college of Engineering and Research Centre , Nashik on 15th sept 2022 . Er. Girish A. Kaklij Project Operation Manager, ABB India Limited, Nashik was invited as chief guest. During this event Principal of Matoshri College of Engineering and Research Centre Dr. G.K. Kharate , Vice-principal Dr. V .H. Patil , Principal of Matoshri Asrabai Polytechnic Dr. Bagul , Heads of all department and teaching staff were present .Dr. D.D. Ahire propose vote of thanks

Industrial visit organized at Hayasa E-mobility Private Limited , Nashik
One day industrial visit organized by department of Electronics and Telecommunication engineering at Hayasa E-mobility Private Limited, Nashik for T.E. and B.E. (E&TC) class. Ms. Madhuri S. Nimse and other staff members co-ordinate visit .Students learned a lot during the industrial visit, they understands that electric vehicle are much better than conventional fuel vehicles in terms of cost, pollution, etc.
